WILLEMSTAD - Utility company Aqualectra will soon start with the further dismantling of the installations at Mundo Nobo in Willemstad. A building, two storage tanks and the water distribution pipes will be demolished. The work will last until October.
In 2013, the state-owned company started the gradual closure of the production units in that area. A total of six phases have been mapped out. The current work marks the third phase. By removing the installations step by step, Aqualectra wants to keep the nuisance to a minimum. The utility company warns of possible noise and dust nuisance.
