WILLEMSTAD - The Supervisory Board of the utility company Aqualectra has requested a substantial increase in the fees for the supervisory directors.
It concerns the company Integrated Utility Holding, the official name of energy company Aqualectra. In the corona crisis currently affecting the economy of the island, there are talks about lower salaries at the government and government-owned companies. However, the members of the Supervisory Board consider their work to be much heavier than they expected and want to be paid extra for that.
