WILLEMSTAD - Aqualectra, the local utility company, is implementing an advanced metering infrastructure as part of a smart grid project on the island.
The smart grid consists of 85,000 electrical meters, 80,000 water meters and 30,000 streetlights.
This is the reason why Aqualectra is seeking consultancy of a Subject matter expert for the AMLI project.
A minimum track record of 2 previous implementations is required as a prerequisite to apply as a SME to implement the smart grid in Curacao.
It is the intention to execute this project in the following phases:
- Proof of concept (duration of 9 months) starting immediately
- Full deployment upon approval of proof of concept
