WILLEMSTAD - The utility company Aqualectra has started an investigation into the main line in Barber after complaints from the neighborhood. Residents reported that the water seems clean, but the filters are very dirty.
Different test holes have been drilled and sections of the pipes have been flushed. However, the taste and color of the water remained unchanged.
Technicians have taken samples on strategic points that are now being investigated. It may be that the water supply in Barber is temporarily shut off by the investigation, the energy company reports in a Facebook message. Aqualectra apologizes for the inconvenience.
