WILLEMSTAD - Artist Ras Elijah comes to Curaçao in December to restore the historical mural at Bajonetstraat in Otrabanda.
His ticket to the island was paid through a crowdfunding campaign by Louis Hilgers and Ace Suares. That yielded almost 4,000 guilders.
But the owner of the building on which the mural can be seen has decided to pay all the costs. As a result, Ras Elijah can now restore other murals in Otrobanda.
