Aruba introduces corona insurance for tourists

Local | By Correspondent June 12, 2020

ORANJESTAD - Aruba opens the borders on July 1 not only for Europe, but also for Canada and the Caribbean region (excluding the Dominican Republic and Haiti). On July 10, the Aruban government wants to open its borders with the United States. This could mean that Curaçao closes the border with Aruba again.

Tourists who come to Aruba must do a test, complete a health certificate and take out special insurance. This costs $ 15 a day and covers costs for any quarantine and medical care if someone is found to be infected with the corona virus.
