ORANJESTAD - In Aruba, most corona infections come from outside the island. This is evident from figures from the Department of Public Health.
Of the 97 active infections, 55 came in via the airport against 42 local infections. For the time being, everyone must therefore be tested upon arrival in Aruba. The 55 are not all tourists, but also Arubans who return to the island.
Of the people who became infected in recent weeks, fifteen percent turned out to be fully vaccinated.
