Aruba will start vaccinating today

ORANJESTAD - Aruba starts vaccinating today. Yesterday, the first shipment of nearly 12,000 Pfizer vaccines arrived on the island. It is used for healthcare personnel.

Next week, the crisis team expects to be able to vaccinate the first over-60s. Bonaire received 4000 vaccines with KLM yesterday. These are intended for healthcare employees and the elderly over 60 years of age. The vaccinations start there on Monday.

Curaçao will also receive the first vaccines from the Netherlands today. It is not yet known when the vaccination campaign will start.
