WILLEMSTAD - Dr. Reshma led the Avalon University students in a community volunteer service to clean up the neighborhood football fields. The event was organized by CURA DOET, one of the largest volunteer organizations in Curaçao!
The students were happy to answer the call to serve in this first-time international community work to make a difference in the lives of Curaçao residents. Volunteering is a powerful tool that unites us around a common purpose and builds strong communities which in turn builds healthy people.
At Avalon we believe in the amazing things that passionate people, including our students, are doing to make Curaçao a better place!
