WILLEMSTAD - The average hotel occupancy during the month of July is between 18 and 22 percent. This was announced by the Curaçao Hotel and Tourism Association (CHATA). Currently, a maximum of 10,000 tourists per month are admitted to the island.
Together with the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), the Minister of Economic Development (MEO) and the Ministry of Health, Environment and Nature, it is considered to scale up this number to 20,000 per month.
