WILLEMSTAD - Banco di Caribe and Go Rent Curaçao have started an action together to facilitate the elderly in obtaining a laptop. For example, the elderly no longer have to leave their home to pay monthly bills, according to the bank.
From the end of August to the beginning of September, Banco di Caribe offers a special interest rate when taking out a personal loan.
In addition, Go Rent Curacao provides a teaching package to teach the elderly to work on a laptop. The package consists of four information lessons and four free lessons.
“The pandemic has made us do more digitally. The importance of being able to arrange everything online means that a laptop has become indispensable," writes Banco di Caribe. In this way, the bank hopes to be able to connect the elderly with the digital world.
