It is about money with dubious origin, tax evasion and money laundering.
The lottery holders have not yet succeeded in finding another bank. According to Robbie’s Lottery, almost 200 jobs are at stake with the decision of the MCB Bank.
This is a hard blow for the lottery business which is extremely popular on the island. No other bank has offered to open accounts for these companies.
