WILLEMSTAD - The barracks at the SDKK prison where illegal migrants reside are being expanded.
The project will be called 'Renovation and extension of immigration detention SDKK'. After the renovation, one section will be able to accommodate 38 men and another section 24 women. The project started in 2020, but was postponed due to the corona pandemic. If everything goes according to plan, delivery will take place at the end of April 2022.
