WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service (OM) will not prosecute former corporal Bart D. from Apeldoorn for involvement in the death of his wife.
Last year Iris Homan from Hengelo was found lifeless in a swimming pool on Curaçao. Shortly thereafter, D. was arrested. After a year of investigation, her death remains a mystery.
The autopsy of Homan's body showed that there was an amount of alcohol and drugs in her blood. An exact cause of death has never been found.
