WILLEMSTAD - Bonaire Fuel Terminals (BBT) and Curoil will collaborate on the development and realization of a new fuel terminal close to Bonaire International Airport. The new terminal is to be commissioned by 2025 at the latest.
The new terminal is intended to ensure safe landing and storage of fuels. In addition, the new terminal contributes to securing a reliable energy supply on Bonaire. No new pier will be built, but the existing pier will be used.
BBT is responsible for the development and financing of the project. The operation and maintenance of the fuel terminal will be in the hands of Curoil, as will the purchasing and distribution of the fuels.
