WILLEMSTAD - Better connections between the islands in the Dutch Kingdom will remain something for the future for the time being. This is evident from answers to questions from members of the Dutch parliament.
The Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management is working on a proposal to improve connectivity within the Kingdom and to reduce rates where possible.
However, the plans are still not worked out and the legal, financial and organizational feasibility is unclear. The Ministry does not dare to give a deadline for possible implementation.
