WILLEMSTAD - The last five Venezuelan fruit boats are gone at the floating fruit market. Whether they will return soon is unlikely. Foreign Minister Stef Blok is not going to Caracas to ask Maduro to open the borders again, like last year.
The reason for Blok not to attempt that is the fact that Curaçao did not formally ask him to take action. The intention is that from tomorrow local entrepreneurs will take the place of the Venezuelans.
