WILLEMSTAD - In an anonymous letter, some specialists criticized the way in which Epidemiologist Dr. Izzy Gerstenbluth deals with the CODIV-19 situation. The board of Curaçao Medical Center (CMC), the Board of Medical Specialists (MSB) and the Board of National Association of Medical professionals in Service of Curaçao (LVMPiLC) are behind Drs. Gerstenbluth and the decisions of the government and dissociate themselves from this anonymous letter.
Since the beginning of February, several specialists have been talking to the Ministry of Public Health and have daily contact with Drs. Gerstenbluth to exchange information, decisions and COVID-19 protocol.
CMC regrets that specialists send an anonymous letter without identifying themselves. “With dialogue, we can contribute to promoting systems and processes where we emphasize the culture of the dialogue.”
