WILLEMSTAD - The board of the CMC has taken note of a call from the union to its members to go on strike during working hours. The board has in no way or form received a notification from the union informing that there is an intention to hold a strike or what the strike is based on at all.
The board can in any case state with certainty that it is not about the so-called "12.5%", as the board has not yet made any decision about this. It is therefore very important to underline that the board is not aware of a dispute between them and the union, nor is there any conflict between employee and employer CMC.
The board makes an urgent request to its employees to continue to ensure the well-being of the patients.
