WILLEMSTAD - The man who was found dead in a well was murdered. Curaçao Chronicle reported yesterday that it seems that the man did not die of natural causes.
Police have now confirmed that it is indeed a crime, meaning five murders have now been registered this year. The man was severely beaten, then rocks were tied to his feet and he was thrown into a well near the Festival Center.
After the lifeless body was removed from the well, the family who had come to the commotion around the well confirmed that it was Norris Teodosio Rosa, born on March 23, 1957 in Curaçao. Rosa had been missing for several days.
The investigation into the murder is still ongoing.
