WILLEMSTAD - Those who do their shopping in times of crisis should go to the Bon Bini supermarket. That is the result of price comparison of over 200 products in 15 supermarkets in Curaçao.
For example, the Consumers' Association looked at the price of meat and fish, sugar, coffee, and frozen vegetables.
Bon Bini, which is located in the Brievengat neighborhood, was cheapest on 50 of the 200 products. Centrum Supermarket in Mahaai and both supermarkets of Mangusa were the cheapest with 43 products. The Mangusa Hypermarket had the best range.
Of the 200 products compared, 150 were on the shelf at Mangusa.
