WILLEMSTAD - Botica Brion, a subsidiary of the parent company Botika di Servisio, has achieved the Harmonization Quality Assessment in the Healthcare Sector (HKZ) qualification, the highest attainable within the industry.
This was reported by the company in a press release.
The certificate represents a guarantee of quality and safety within the pharmacy's service offerings. The process to obtain the certificate was supported by Service Apotheek, the Dutch partner of Botika di Servisio. Colleagues from Aruba are also said to have contributed to the achievement for Botica Brion.
In addition to ensuring quality and safety, the certificate indicates that the business is well-organized and focused on improvement. The pharmacy, recently located at the end of Breedestraat in Otrobanda, is the first pharmacy in Curaçao to secure this certification.
To maintain this status, the pharmacy will need to demonstrate each year that they continue to provide the high level of service to patients that they currently offer.
