WILLEMSTAD - The technical briefing for top earners will resume next Tuesday at a meeting of the central committee. The briefing was suspended last month due to the recess.
With the top income standard, an annual salary in the public-private sector amounts to a maximum of 263,000 guilders. Various government-affiliated entities previously expressed their criticism of the standard, because it did not include all fringe benefits. The top officials also found the two-year transition period to the new standard too short.
The first briefings were held on 5 and 7 July, these will now be continued from Tuesday morning.
