WILLEMSTAD - Building Depot announced today that eight employees have been infected with the COVID-19 virus. Earlier this week there were a number of sickness reports. As a result, a group of employees volunteered to be tested for corona. It turned out that eight employees were infected.
Most of these employees were already at home and the others were immediately sent home when their results turned out to be positive. This morning all remaining employees had themselves tested. People who test positive will be sent home immediately, according to Building Depot.
The management of Building Depot says it will do everything it can to continue to guarantee the health of employees and customers.
Customers are asked to disinfect their hands upon arrival and always use a shopping cart. A mouth mask is mandatory, as is keeping a safe distance from others.
