WILLEMSTAD - Hague Blue Investments has received a building permit to construct apartments at Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort. The Island Development Plan stipulates that the area around Blue Bay is designated as a tourist area.
A total of eighteen apartments and six penthouses will be built in six building units. According to Minister Charles Cooper, who officially issued the building permit yesterday, the apartment complex will improve the quality of living in the area and attract more tourists.
“An example of contemporary and sustainable architecture,” said the minister, who indicates that local contractors, engineers and architects are involved in the construction.
“This is a stimulus for the economy, because it offers Curaçao employment. Not only during the construction, but also during the maintenance of the complex.”
