WILLEMSTAD - Luxury hotel projects in Curaçao are on the rise. The people behind the Pen Resort will start building the all-inclusive hotel in Penstraat within two months. Minister Cooper of VVRP has issued the building permit.
The hotel will have 300 rooms and 25 suites. The construction will cost about 160 million guilders. The resort will open in the first half of 2025 under the flag of the prestigious Autograph Collection Hotels, of the Marriott hotel chain. The luxury hotel project will be located between the monuments of Kas di Pueblo and Cerro Bonito. The Kas di Pueblo is being renovated and will have a catering function. Cerro Bonito is also being restored. The monument will also become a catering facility.
