WILLEMSTAD - On Tuesday 24 August, Mrs. Germaine Rekwest presented the book “Capita selecta Caribbean Tax Law” to the Governor of Curaçao, Her Excellency Lucille George-Wout.
The book introduces the reader to Caribbean tax systems, including the tax system of Suriname. In addition, the tax systems are also placed in the context of the historical development of taxes in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom and of the political structure. The book is written by eight (8) authors who work as tax specialists in the European Netherlands and/or in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom.
