CARF celebrates World Animal Day with 'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups' at City Beach 88

Local | By Correspondent October 1, 2019

WILLEMSTAD - On Sunday, October 6th, the Curaçao Animal Rights Foundation (CARF), together with City Beach 88, is hosting 'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups'. During this event, that will start at 9:00 AM, guests can enjoy coffees and other drinks while playing and cuddling with adoptable rescue dogs.

'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups' will take place two days after World Animal Day, which is celebrated each year on October 4th. During the event, volunteers of CARF will be present to take care of the puppies and answer any questions from guests regarding the CARF dogs, the foundation itself, and its adoption process.

The dogs of CARF that will be attending 'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups' are all up for adoption. But people who are not interested or able to adopt a dog, are also more than welcome to join. 'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups' is open for everyone who loves animals and who enjoys playing with dogs. If people are interested in possibly becoming a volunteer with the foundation, they can ask the attending volunteers for more information.

People with socialized dogs are welcome to bring their own pets to the event. City Beach 88 is dog-friendly, as long as dogs are leashed, well-behaved and waste is picked up by the dog owners. Entrance to 'Coffee Cups & Rescue Pups' is complimentary. More information can be found on Facebook.com/carfcuracao and Facebook.com/citybeach88.

City Beach 88 is located at Pietermaai 86-88, in between boutique hotel Scuba Lodge & Ocean Suites and café BEANS.
