THE HAGUE - The Coast Guard is expanding. With more staff, the organization is developing into a 24/7 operating institution. This is stated in the Annual Plan 2023 Caribbean Coast Guard, which Minister Kajsa Ollongren of Defense has sent to the Dutch House of Representatives.

The Coast Guard is expected to grow by approximately 265 employees in the coming years, including dozens of full-time jobs. The new employees are mainly recruited in the Caribbean part of the Kingdom.
