WILLEMSTAD - Carnival 2020 will officially start this afternoon. That happens with a parade from Plaza Mundu Merced via the Penstraat and the Dr. Martin L. King Boulevard to the stadium of S.U.B.T.
As a result, some roads on the route will be blocked for some time. The police have announced that they will carry out extensive checks along the route.
