WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service wants to take away the 1.4 million guilders that notary Johnny Kleinmoedig has embezzled. The lawsuit started on Thursday November 18, 2021.
Kleinmoedig was sentenced in First Instance to eighteen months in prison and removal from office for five years. But he now awaits his appeal in freedom. The case was immediately postponed on Thursday because Kleinmoedig's lawyer needs more time to properly prepare the case. The judge agreed. The parties will return to court on March 11, 2022.
