Case of fireworks theft postponed

Local | By Correspondent March 10, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - The court has postponed the case against the two men suspected of fireworks theft from the Kruithuis (firework warehouse).

They took their chance in November last year and took 151 crates of professional fireworks with a value of 125,000 guilders.

Only after a wild chase, the police managed to bring in the thieves. Reason for the adjournment of the lawsuit is that the two did not appear yesterday. They had been released after their arrest pending trial.
