Case sold Seaquarium dolphins continues September 7th

Local | By Correspondent August 17, 2022

WILLEMSTAD - Animal rights lawsuit against Seaquarium over the five dolphins transported to Saudi Arabia continues on September 7. This was confirmed by Animal Rights lawyer Hubert Braam.

Animal Rights started a lawsuit in early June against Seaquarium, the Minister of Health, Environment and Nature and Tursiops, the owner of the dolphins. According to the animal welfare organization, the permit to transport the animals should never have been issued.

The Sea Aquarium confirmed in June that the dolphins Serena, Machu, Mosa, Sami and Luna were still being transported to the Fakieh Aquarium in Jeddah, despite Animal Rights efforts to stop it.
