WILLEMSTAD - Police raided a house on Sunset Heights on Saturday night. According to sources, the raid was carried out on suspicion of money laundering.
The Public Prosecution Service confirms that it is an ongoing investigation into a criminal case. Furthermore, little information is given by the authorities. There are also indications that it would be an alleged kidnapping.
Large amounts of cash, luxury items and expensive cars were seized during the raid. At least five luxury cars were counted that were hoisted up and taken away by a police crane. It was not disclosed how much money was seized.
In October 2015, the same house on Kaya Seru Tinta was raided in which several luxury cars were also seized.
