WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Casino Owners Association does not agree with the easing of the corona measures. Casinos were excluded from the recent easing. The casinos are still completely banned from public access. This in contrast to other catering establishments, gyms, and churches.
According to the association, this will hit the casino sector particularly hard, with major damage as a result. In consultation with the government, investments have previously been made in protective measures. The casino owners call the government's decision "yet another act of arbitrariness" and hope for an immediate relaxation for the casino industry.
