WILLEMSTAD - The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS) has decided to update their flyer with money-saving tips.
This week there was a lot of commotion about CBCS's suggestion to cancel newspaper subscriptions. The Central Bank says it has never said that newspaper subscriptions are redundant, but that households should be critical of their spending and what they can afford.
Nevertheless, it was decided to delete the phrase from the flyer.
