WILLEMSTAD - The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten (CBCS) warns against local pyramid schemes, among others with the name “Blessings Circle”. The constructs pretend to be a legitimate means of making money quickly.
The systems are increasingly emerging internationally in these times of the corona crisis, when many people are losing their jobs. The Blessings Circle is therefore also about recruiting new participants to guarantee the flow of money into the system. CBCS will continue to take preventive steps to track down providers of fraudulent systems and stop them.
