CDC: Travelers should avoid all travel to Curaçao

Local | By Correspondent November 24, 2020

WASHINGTON - Americans are not advised to travel to Curaçao. This is reported by the Centers For Disease Control & Prevention, the CDC. Curaçao is labeled "level 4", the highest risk level. CDC says all travelers should avoid travel to Curaçao, as it could increase the likelihood of covid-19 spreading.

Americans who do go to Curaçao must have themselves tested twice, once upon departure from the island and once a few days after arrival in America. They are also required to be in quarantine for a week when they return home, those who do not get tested must be in quarantine for two weeks.

The travel advice appears just before the first flights from Miami, Canada, New York and New Jersey to Curaçao. These are scheduled in the first and second week of December.
