WILLEMSTAD - The Board of Financial Supervision (CFT) has decided that Minister of Finance Javier Silvania has until May 13 to submit a budget amendment. This is apparent from a letter from the CFT that was sent to Silvania on 25 April.
It must be made clear in the budget amendment that the previous recommendations of the CFT from the 2022 budget have been incorporated. The standards of the budget amendment must be in line with the standards of the Kingdom Act.
The minister must also submit a separate loan request for all planned investments. The loan application must be submitted to the Kingdom Council of Ministers, which then makes a decision on the investments.
