WILLEMSTAD – On Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the chair of the Stichting Kinderbescherming Curaçao, Diahanne Lichtenberg, paid an introductory visit to the Governor of Curaçao, Mauritsz de Kort. She was accompanied by the foundation’s treasurer, Eldred Deterville.
During the meeting, Lichtenberg briefed the Governor on the future plans of the Child Protection Foundation and discussed several initiatives currently in place on the island aimed at strengthening the protection and welfare of children.
The visit served as an opportunity to exchange views on ongoing efforts in the field of child protection and to highlight the role of various organizations working to safeguard children’s rights and well-being in Curaçao.
