WILLEMSTAD - Environmental and recycling organization Green Force has recently updated all recycling stations at Chogogo resort. All existing stations have been picked up, cleaned and provided with the new identification stickers.
Furthermore, the entire system has been increased from 2 stations to 5 to keep up with the growth of this resort that has recently completed the expansion. This will ensure that there are places throughout the resort where plastic bottles and aluminum cans can be recycled.
Green Force is proud of this collaboration that has lasted for 9 years now. "This resort is an example for many others in this area who do not take responsibility for their recyclable waste. We have been working together for 9 years and Chogogo resort has shown that it is possible and that it can run well" says Green Force.
Chogogo resort produces approximately 3 cubic meters of recyclable waste per month, which is all neatly collected by Green Force and processed into preparations that are exported and reused abroad. With the recent upgrade and expansion of the recycling stations, this will only increase.
Green Force hopes that all resorts and the beach in the Jan Thiel area will be recycled at some point. It is no longer of this time not to do it. The tourists want it, and it is the responsibility of the resorts and hotels to make this happen. The days of long talk and pretending are over. A call to the entire Jan Thiel area to start recycling. Green Force has additional capacity to grow with 10 more large hotels/resorts. We are also calling on the restaurants in that area to sit down with us and start recycling their plastic bottles and cans.
