WILLEMSTAD - The bishop of Willemstad, Monsignor Luis Secco, calls on the Catholic faithful to be especially vaccinated against corona.
The bishop emphasizes that the Pope has already called for this. Since vaccines against Covid-19 have been known to become available, some people are unsure whether to take it or not.
According to Secco, the answer is clear for Catholics: Get vaccinated.
“In the past hundred years, mankind has gone through nothing of this magnitude. At this point it is clear that there is nowhere near an end,” Secco said in a message to all the believers under his responsibility.
He calls on all believers, if there is the possibility of vaccinating, to make use of it.
