WILLEMSTAD - Formateur Gilmar Pisas will go to the governor this week to discuss the results of the screening of Ruisandro Cijntje. Then a date can be set on which he will take the oath. Once this is settled, he will be an official member of the Pisas cabinet.
Cijntje is a candidate of Partido Nashonal (PNP) and will be in charge of the Ministry of Economic Development. The moment Cijntje is sworn in, the government will consist of eight ministers. Then only one more minister is needed.
At present, Pisas himself holds two ministerial posts; those of General Affairs and Justice. The reason for this is that he wants to wait for Eduard Braam's lawsuit before making a decision about nominating a new candidate from MFK.
Braam's case will be heard in court today.
