Citro Sea Rescue receives gift from the Curaçao government

WILLEMSTAD - Citro Sea Rescue has received a rescue vehicle from the government of Curaçao. It was a vehicle that was no longer in use.

With the donation, the foundation can replace the existing rescue vehicles. The Citro Sea Rescue is very pleased with the gift. Normally the organization is completely dependent on donations from individuals and companies. The organization is having a hard time, due to the pandemic, the planned fundraising events could not take place.

 

Citro Sea Rescue is an organization where more than 40 volunteers. The organization invests a lot of time in aid and rescue work. Citro is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to rescue people from the sea. The volunteers receive no compensation or other form of payment.
