WILLEMSTAD - All civil servants receive a one-off compensation payment of 1750 guilders. This is evident from a recently published National Decree.
The benefit serves as compensation for the drastic measures that had to be applied to qualify for budget support from the Netherlands. The government wants to show their appreciation to the civil servants with this payment.
Only civil servants who are still actively employed with an open-ended contract will receive the compensation. It concerns a gross amount of 1750 guilders that will still be awarded.
