CMC board has a zero-tolerance policy on theft

WILLEMSTAD - The board of the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) reports that internal theft was detected at the CMC on August 17, 2020. After going through the camara images, security confronted the perpetrator with the facts. The perpetrator has confessed to having stolen items owned by the CMC. The board of CMC has since reported the matter to the police and the perpetrator has been arrested.

The board emphasizes that the CMC has a zero-tolerance policy, which means that no form of theft is tolerated. In connection with privacy, personal information about the person concerned will not be disclosed.
