WILLEMSTAD - Not the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC), but the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZA) itself has made parts of its report illegible. This is according to Gilbert Martina, director of the CMC.
The report of the Dutch Healthcare Authority is about the financial position and prospects of Curaçao Medical Center.
According to the hospital, the misleading announcement was made last week that parts of the NZA report had been made illegible at the request of the management of CMC.
But the CMC now states that it reviewed the report in April 2022 and identified a list of inaccuracies that needed to be corrected by NZA. Another alternative that CMC Management gave to NZA was to publish the report summarizing CMC's responses, stating the inaccuracies. “But the NZA has decided to make parts of the report illegible,” said Martina.
