WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) has immediately switched to power from a generator. Germaine Gibbs spokesman for the CMC informed the media about this. This means that care for all patients is under control.
Aqualectra previously announced that it would provide electricity to the hospital and the airport again at noon this afternoon. However, according to the CMC, this power is not stable, so the hospital still runs on the generators. These can run for a week, according to Gibbs.
