WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) will resume regular care this week. Last week, urgent oncological interventions were started. The first postponed operations and treatments will be resumed this week.
Because there are fewer and fewer infections, the CMC can slowly return to the order of the day. Until now, one operating room is in use every day because the "recovery room" is still occupied with COVID-19 patients.
Since April 9, the hospital has not admitted any new covid patients. Currently 29 patients are still in the hospital, 19 of which are in Intensive Care.
