WILLEMSTAD — The Coast Guard will maintain an intensified presence on Bonaire and the Windward Islands in 2026, continuing joint operations with police, customs, and border authorities.
On Bonaire, the Multidisciplinary Maritime Hub will remain fully operational, supported by Justice-20 vessels and permanent Coast Guard personnel stationed on the island year-round. Patrols around Sint Eustatius and Saba will also continue at high frequency, supported by units from Sint Maarten, Hato, and the Station Ship Caribbean.
The Coast Guard emphasizes that cooperation with local and regional partners remains essential to maintaining effective maritime border control.
